Initial consulation
During the initial consultation we will discuss your goals and expectations. You will have a chance to describe the areas that are bothering you and your feelings about the procedure. We will address questions you have about your procedure.
How is Surgery performed?
Plastic surgery is performed in the operating room at a fully accredited surgical center. While you are asleep under general anesthesia the procedures are performed. The surgery length depends on your procedure. You are then brought to the recovery room to be monitored until you are ready to go home. Remember that you will need someone to pick you up.
After Surgery
You will need someone to bring you home from the surgery center. The pain medication prescribed will help keep you comfortable in the days after surgery. Antibiotics will help minimize the risks of infection. Dr. Pham will keep in close contact with you after surgery and see you back in the office to examine you to make sure you are healing well. Heavy lifting and straining should be avoided after surgery until you heal completely. A compression garment will provide comfort and help promote rapid recovery.
